Welcome November!
To all of our friends, families and everyone affected by the horrible Sandy, I am sending my heartfelt well wishes for a speedy recovery! It's a good reminder for me to help however possible and so I'm donating and sending a message or illustration to offer some cheer through this difficult time. Take good care and hang tough, east coasters!

November is a beautiful month. It is my younger sister's birthday, it is one of my older sister's birthday, it my husband's birthday but it is also the day my beloved mother passed away. I will celebrate November with all my heart.
ReplyDeleteI will also eat pumpkin pie after I eat a pecan pie. I can't wait to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Poor little mouse, so tiny, carrying that pie. The piggies should just eat all the pie so his load would be lighter.
In front of my office is a restaurant that sells pecan pie for $50.00!!! Oh wait, we are talking about pumpkin pie...
Today All Souls Day. Tomorrow is All Saints Day.

ReplyDeleteWe were REALLY lucky here in northern RI, with only some downed trees and power outages but several of my friends were more seriously affected. (I lived in NJ from 2006-10) Its difficult to watch the news footage. My heart goes out to all who have endured such loss.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE pumpkin pie, so of course I love this illustration, haha. It's also cute too and I love the little waiter mouse. And yes, this is a perfect time to help out those in need in any way we can!
