Hello!
I’m a children’s book illustrator who lives in the Bay Area,
California. Since ’98, through my company, gabbyandco.com, I’ve had the
wonderful opportunity to work with various companies designing, illustrating
and hand-lettering for the technology, greeting card, medical, toy, and
publishing industries.
More recently, I’ve been devoting all of my time to my first love,
children’s books. I have stacks and stacks of books and continue to collect
them. I’m represented by the wonderful Nicole Tugeau of Tugeau2.com and have
worked with great clients in the children’s publishing industry. My work
consists of lots of sketching (I love pencil and paper), watercolors, gouache,
colored pencils, pen and ink, and other media with digital touches in the
finished work. I find lots of inspiration on my daily walks with our dog,
Zsofi, but mostly from my incredibly smart and talented daughters &
husband.
