Dearest friends of my little blog...
thank you SO much for your kind visits and amazingly generous comments this past month. I am so happy to be a part of this fantastically creative community and it is always so joyful to me to visit all of you as well.
I just wanted to let you know that I'm off to hibernate for the winter...taking some time for life and family, and I just wanted to let my blog family know where I am.
Here's to a wonderful Fall and Winter, and I wish you all lots of quality time with those you love, and loads of time to create. Hugs to you, friends. ~ Shirley
Dearest Shirley, I wish you and your family the best. May God bless you always. Love,

So, by the time I am back from my insane schedule you will be gone for a while. Boo hoo, I'm going to miss you. At least "you", let every one know you are leaving, I don't plan on not "being around" it just kind of creeps up on me as the day turns into night and the work seems to drag on and on. Well, have fun sweetie, I'll be thinking of you, from beneath a pile of never ending school work. :) Maybe one day I'll have time to really get some illustrations done so check in from time to time ok? XOXOX

ReplyDeleteShirley,
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful fall and winter with friends and family. Your presence online will be missed while your are away, but sometimes we have to "hibernate" to refresh and devote some extra "lovin" to the family and loved ones, and ourselves. I should take that advice myself (pulled in so many directions at times). Wishing you a wonderful winter season! I look forward to seeing new, wonderful, scrumptious artwork when you return. And especially to reading your sweet words of wisdom, wonderful blog posts and comments that always bring cheer to my day -hugs :)

ReplyDeleteThere must be something in the air...it seems there are a lot of my "regulars" that are either leaving or putting blogs on hold or just MIA.
ReplyDeleteBut life does go on, and while I hear some say "life gets in the way" I think it is the opposite...so many things get in the way of living the lives we should!
Enjoy your time, I'm sure we'll see you around! :)
Hope your hibernating has been restful and rejuvenating! :)
ReplyDeleteYour work is phenomenal! I love it!
