a lot of time in my life...
worried about what others thought of me
about how I could fit in
thinking that I wasn't "good enough"
feeling shy and afraid
and not able to show my art to anyone
because of fear...
but I realize that I wasted time
precious time
and I ain't gonna do that anymore.
Nope, not gonna.
Here's to living your life each day to the fullest, everyone...boldly and bravely!
Hi Shirley
ReplyDeleteThat is such a sweet illustration - very, very cute!
Just letting you know I have tagged you in a Questionaire meme. Don't feel like you have to do it if you don't want to. But you are a person I would like to find out more about! The questions are over on my blog http://theinkhouse.blogspot.com/2010/10/questionaire-meme.html
I thought it would be a little bit of fun, so I hope you do it :D
Have a nice day, Liz x

I'd love to take this pledge with you! I've tried to overcome my feelings of self doubt over the years but they still come back when I least expect them. I can't imagine that someone as talented as you would have this problem...but it's hard to know what we've gone through just by blog posts! Hugs to you, my friend! ♥

ReplyDeleteAmen Sister! This little girl used to be me until one day I put on my yellow raincoat and said "I am going outside in the rain" Someone said "You will get wet." I replied "I sure will!" And I ran out into the rain and took my raincoat off. But then I caught a cold the following week, but I drank a lot of fluids and anyway, this has nothing to do with the little girl. I just wanted to say all of those things, because I can. Hahahaha! Shirley!!! Have fun! TSUP!!!
