Renewal



A little early, but I hope these "spring-like" illustrations bring a smile to you.

  1. I did spring too, I love them, they look so happy and sweet! By the way, I think your washes are lovely and you don't need lessons in my opinion, though it never hurts to learn more, I think you handle the medium well. I taught lessons for years and yours are nicely manipulated. If your having a specific difficulty email me and I'll see if I can help.

  5. Well, 16 degrees w/wind chill at around 5, plus snow - beautiful, but your dose of spring on paper was good for the soul today! Your watercolors are beautiful Shirley, so full of life and colorful, I too especially love that Monsieur Olivet! Thanks so much for your last commentary on my renewal post I appreciate your encouragement - All the best for 2010....

  8. They're absolutely adorable! I think of the beginning of January as spring, always have done. (Something to do with christmas, then my birthday followed by new years day?)The 1st of January is to me a new beginning :) Happy new year Shirley!xx
