OK, playing a bit of hooky today - and enjoying this new "style"....here's another little illo just for fun. Happy weekend everyone!
That's a wonderful little GIF, Shir! And I love that little critter down below too, very nice use of shape and color. You always make me want to do more seasonal, holiday related stuff, but then I just never get around to it :P It's funny as we always seem to be in virtual sync sometimes - I've been playing with new styles as well for my current book, and I am busy with tax stuff too :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteTwo cute illustrations :) What program do you use for animations?
ReplyDeleteWell, St. Patrick's Day isn't really a great deal where I live. I've never celebrated it in all my life. ^^' What do you do on that day?

Shirley, I so love your work and have been admiring your work for years now through my friend, Alexandra who follows you. You inspire both of us so much. I have to say you have to surely have one of THE most darling styles of illustration out there. EVERYTHING you do is incredible!
ReplyDeleteYou know what would truly be humbling is if you ever joined one of the CREATIVE TUESDAYS art co-op themes each fortnight. I can only imagine how cute your piece could adn woudl be for my next theme next week (not announced yet).
And, yes, happy belated St. PAtrick's to you. I always found it amusing how much people of Irish descent are into here in America considering how he was himself English. LOl.
