  1. Pure joy! Brings to mind a most wonderful story of a pilot who suffered head and neck cancer and when recovering from the horrendous surgery, his veterinary friend insisted that he care for a baby flying squirrel he had rescued. Extremely reluctant at first, the pilot soon became greatly engaged in teaching the little squirrel to fly. The entire experience was what saved the pilot and gave him back his will to live. The story ended with the tiny squirrel falling into his almost empty coffee mug he was holding. It is a true story.

    Wow. long winded.
    Love, Deb

  2. Hi Shirley! Not only did Francois and Felicienne bring a smile to my face, I had to giggle at the crafty aliteration (including the fettuccine!) hee hee! You've masterfully projected movement in this illustration. I feel like they're high on a tight rope! :)
