lack o' sleep, feeling like I was not getting on top of the pile that I had set in my mind to conquer, little things...that's what must have been on the brain. Oh well, thankfully a good night's sleep has fixed that today! : )
I don't mean to question your memory of events, but I do find it hard to believe someone who makes such CRAZY CUTENESS would ever get very grumpy. In any case, I am glad to hear you are feeling better! I suppose when I am feeling grumpy I visit some of my favorite art blogs with the cutest stuff ever, like this one. :D Also my seriously cute dog, Wilson, or watching silly animal videos.
I love these but I have to say the grumpy one is the cutest. I mean, I'm sorry that he's grumpy but that face just kills me.
I take a walk along the river, throw some stones into the water and I sit on the grass listening to the murmur of water between the rocks :) your interpretation of the theme is perfect!!!!! :)
I'll take the grumpies. My days have been utterly devastatingly ruinously, unhealthily, overwhelmingly SSTRESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSFULLLLL!!! I love the puzzled expression - like a bullet shooting through the sky. Shoot me!!! HEHEHEHE! I hope you feel cheerful now. Tsup!
It is hard to stay grumpy when looking at your illustrations, Shriley -- just look at this adorable bear of yours! It's enough to brighten up anyone's day! :-)
Lack of sleep definitely gets me grumpy... Hanging out with my dog certainly helps. Actually, being around animals pretty much works for me anytime I'm feeling grumpy or sad!
They are so cute, I just want to hug them!! (Well, maybe not the grumpy one, so much!) I like running on the treadmill, or hitting the punching bag when I feel grumpy!
I just try to relax do nothing for a while...sleeping, listening to music...If it is possible I try to be alone when I feel like that because I don't wanna end up fighting over silly things. I love your bears, you should do more for different emotions :)
Shirley really hard to even picture a person like you get upset and grumpy like that bear of yours...you give impression you're one of those tender heart gentle spirited people:)(over the internet and ur illustrations that is)but I guess we're all just people, right?! :)Thank you for ur visit and super encouraging words-again :))Oh and so glad you enjoyed my last AGI E-card, with clicking and all :) Ps- when I feel grumpy or agitated I like to retreat and have some quality time on my own and I love listening to some cool music which draws the very best out of me by giving into dancing it all out! :)
teeheeheeeee! Oooh, you are so cute when you are grumpy.
Well, when I'M feeling grumpy, I yell at random strangers and glare at the boy who bags my groceries and honk my horn behind everyone. It works miracles.
He is so boss! I mean really Shirley he is about the cutest little creature ever! How awesome. I just want to eat him up. Your greatness is showing again he he he he he!
Oh, what cute lil' fuzzies- And I'm sure you're more like the last two! But to answer your question, I sometimes have to let all the "growls" out and plod along until things get more more "bearable." ;o) (Gentle) bear hugs to you!
Adorable illustration! Love his expressions! The grumpies are no fun. Usually a relaxing shower or sitting in the sun for a few minutes (of course, I live in Seattle so the sun isn't always available). Last resort, some chai tea!
Something I've realized as I have gotten older is that feelings can be so very transient and oh so unreliable. This was quite a wake-up call for me...trained as a psychologist, where feelings are always given center stage! But truthfully, unless they are really about serious stuff, they flit and fly and change in the blink of an eye :) It's actually kind of refreshing to know that.
Love these pics...they would make super feeling cards for play therapy ;) GeorgiaX
Shirley, I get over the grumpies looking at your beautiful illustrations! After all, who can stay mad after witnessing such amazing and adorable little characters? :)
