Snow!!!!I love the magical snow & all the snowy winter scenes, it's serene and silent...I've seen it straight away on IF that your word was chosen-really cool Shirley :D xox
Hi Shirley it's been such a long time since I last visited, I've not been blogging as much lately due to crazy life stuff but it's so nice to see your work again. Congratulations on having your Illustration Friday word chosen!!! Very sweet piece!!!
The best! Welcome back, beautiful. Ah yes, that would have been sad had you missed your prompt! Heheh! Where is this place? I want to be there right now.. That beautiful lapis lazuli is so peaceful and calm. Have a great weekend, Shirley. Tsup!
Hello sweet lady. This is wonderful, I love the moon and the moonlight. I got mine posted at the last minute too. I couldn't miss posting something for your prompt :) I hope that you are well and that you and your family have a great thanksgiving. (((HUGS)))
Hehehehe. Aaaww Shirley, I just love you! Tsup!!!! I was in New Jersey in my 20's. I don't think I painted or illustrated a snow scene ever. :( I do now that I am in Zululand Texas. We still are running our airconditioning!!!
Heyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! Welcome back, welcome back!!! So glad you made it in time for your own prompt, and a wonderful one at that!
Aww, there is a beautiful serenity to this. I have a song flowing through my head, something about all being calm and bright. I remember being back east and listening to the silence of the snow. Ahh, the trail of moonlight is the cherry on the sundae. Now I want to gently shake this image and make the snow swirl around like a snowglobe.
Heeheheeeeeeee! Love your little mo! My husband used to tell my girls that anyone could grow a mustache if they thought hard enough. You must have had a brain surge! :D
Hey LadyBug!! How are you darling girl? Are you working hard and enjoying it?? I surely hope so. I am doing well and working and enjoying it. So much is going on and I have not had a chance to really blog like I've been wanting too. I just adore your book Launch! I can't wait to share it over the Thanksgiving holiday with my the children and my nieces and nephews. We have had a whole bunch of babies born in the last couple of days. Needless to say we are so excited. Thanks so much for stopping by because I know how busy you are. Thanks so much for sharing your comfort food with us. I hope you win! Sending you the biggest and bestest hug I can muster right now at 4:00am. Best to you. V

Congratulations on the release of your book! Your character illustrations are adorable, but this snowy scene reminds me so much of my beloved Hokkaido, so I just had to leave my comment here. Thanks for you comment on my Etegami blog. :)
