Hi Shirley!! You hit the nail right on the head with Yukon Cornelius, he is one of my favorite characters and that piece is most definitely inspired by him :)
This is gorgeous and your work is so perfect for easter, I hope we get to see some more soon!!
Hey Shirley, what a loveley sentiment the Easter Bunny liking a treat :) Your work is so child friendly that it makes me feel like I am one again (I wish) .. oh to be transported back to those days I(and know what I know now and have a driver's license and be able to drink vino)
The bunny is now stymied by the chick's protest and his expression is perfect! This is so perfectly children's. Endearing and sweet!! (I'm betting he won't eat it. Poor bunny!)
Ahhh..I love it!And Noalinn (my daughter) loves it...would it be ok if I print it out for her room? You always manage to make these little animals too cute for words :) ps-love the new blog layout..the hedgehog on his tiny bicycle is mega cute!
Great characters Shirley! They just keep getting wonderfuller and wonderfuller :o)The illustration as a whole is beautiful...The basket with the bow and all the green! Magical for sure :o) Happy Easter!!!
Helloooooooooo!!! Thank you! Thank you for all the lovely emails and comments. I wanted to wait until after mu stress test today and 3-D echo which made me anxious. Everything is good.
Better - Easter peeps.

Two weeks a go, I wanted to pick up a box of yellow peeps but I changed my mind. I don't need the sugar and frankly, the idea of eating a chick peep's head off is barbaric to me. Hahahahah!
