Francois, Monsieur Olivet's neighbor's son, enjoys a rare treat–
an Old Fashioned donut shipped in from the United States.

Oh, not a stretch at all! What a sweet treat to enjoy an "old fashioned" donut with Francois and Monsieur Olivet! Of course, when opportunity knocks! Then comes the stretching, and exercise...Hee hee! :o)

ReplyDeleteit's not a stretch, it's adorable as always. My son loves old fashioned Cider doughnuts that we get at the apple orchard, they are good, especially when they are fresh.
ReplyDeleteOooohh yummy doughnuts (funny how us Brits spell things differently!!) and how Francois is enjoying them, I'm sure he will lick the sugar off his paws! I actually had an old fashioned cake as a treat today when I went to see my parents....bread pudding, now I had not had a piece of that for years...:0)

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I have not had a doughnut for...for...for a very long time! I can't remember. My favorites are the sugar doughnut and cake doughnut. I love eating them with coffee. I used to make my own doughnut when I was a teenager, OMG I friend mine! Yum. Now all I can think of is the clooged arteries. I am such a killjoy! I love Spam and corned beef! Aaaahhhh! I can't wait to go to my docotr and have my cholesterol level checked. If it is normal, I will eat Spam and corned beef and doughnut then walk for four miles!

Adorable! See? That's why you should ALWAYS keep fresh donuts on hand, just in case small children drop by. Or big children. Or your inner child. And I LOVE that you put the donuts in a pink bakery box! YAYYYYY! Absolutely old fashioned. Tied up with red and white string, no doubt.
