Hi Shirley! I have missed your beautiful art! Love the gorgeous orange in this one, I have just been looking through your previous work while I've been away and you certainly have been busy. LOVE last weeks illustration Friday piece! I shall check out your new website when I get a moment! Take care :0)
How sweet! I would like to lie down and read for awhile tonight! I have 2 Golden books on my coffee table right now! I may read those! Enjoy your weekend! ♥
oh yes, I have my grandson this weekend and we read about a dozen yesterday and about the same the day before. When we run out he starts to bring me magazines. I was afraid he wouldn't like books because he can't see the pictures, but he loves to be read to and will sit fairly still for an hour or more if we have plenty of books. Love the sweet bunny illustration. I hope all is well with you. I am still on the mend, but much, much better.
Such sweet contentment! Yes, my children's books are always within reach, though my (teenage) son is not! Hee hee! Wishing you quiet moments to enjoy this weekend! :o)
Oooo, what a luvly little wee bunnee... You know, I have not read children's books in a while. I'm hooked on teen horror fictions nowadays (oh, dear!), so thanks for reminding me! Hehehee...
Happy weekend to you too Shirley!! What a cute little bunny :D Oh I wish I'd had time to read a good children's book this week.... hopefully next week! :D
Happy weekend to you as well, Shirley! :) I haven't read a children's book "lately," but I DO read them! :) This is such an adorable little illustration. Theresa
i always read children's books. and not because i have to. i actually keep a copy of 'mr lunch takes a plane ride' and a couple other choice selections on my desk just for inspiration. and again, love that you're doing the sketchbook! i'm going to try and see the exhibit in austin (really wish i could see it in brooklyn) ... i wonder how hard it'll be to find yours.
