Happy Spring to you as well! What a lovely painting. I love how she's trudging about in her boots and discovering sproutlings coming up from the snow. Beautiful! Theresa
Gosh you just know how to tinker with the old heart with your fabulous illustrations. This is wonderful and what spring is all about. I love how you played with the wonderful space in the background. It all just works so wonderfully. It's the look on her face as well. You just captured a moment and not many people can do that. It's fabulous Shirley. Straight out of a scene of a story book. Excellent! Hope that you and the girls are doing well and that spring has already sprung on your side of the world. he he he he. We are getting hit with more rain. I guess I'm going to have to ask more folks to break out there weather outfits. Shirley, please put on your coconut bra and grass skirt and shake for Nester's sake and the sake of NJ! We need your hips!
Shirley, this is so beautiful. Her tender facial expression is apropos. I love the signs of spring, the little buds, the shoots, greens...Did you hear though what Bill Clinton said about spring? Hahahah! Bill Clinton Mocks Gore: Start of Spring is 'otherwise known to Al Gore as proof of global warming'...
Have a wonderful spring day. Ugh! I have to go back to work today.
you know Sweet Shirley, this is why i miss you so. look at her! Out for a blissful walk one Spring morning with her dreams. And how you paint the nature is so serene. I think if she listens very carefully she can hear every stream.
Oh my goodness Shirley, she does look like an angel! How can you pack so much into a teesy tiny space, you're a miracle worker with those watercolors! Just beautiful and so full of hope, love it! Glad to see you back a few times, I know you're still slogging through your stuff, but it's great to see your wonderful work again!
So, so, happy you're back with your gorgeous art! And I'm beginning to fall for this red haired adventurer...can't wait to see what kind of magic you'll bring into her!! (^_^) oxx
