Shades...

of Easter are in my studio right now...

we're getting ready for a fun post at www.welovetoillustrate.com, and I was in the mood to paint this little bunny girl. Something a bit different..trying some "linework" with a fine watercolor brush as a patterned/texture background. I dunno..I've got a lot of work ahead, but little bunny girl was sure fun to paint.

How many...
~ chickies can you spy?
~ eggs can you find?
~ anything else?

I'm off to paint little bunny boy now. Squeaked this one in time for Illustrationfriday.com.
 Have a great weekend everyone! : ) ~ Shirley

  15. Hey, well you on a roll Shirley (not an egg roll :) ) I can smell Easter eggs when I look at this, now if I said cute feel good happy full of joy I know you would have heard it all before but I am going to say that anyway :)

She is dressed up so nicley, looks so happy, looks so proud - and the pattern works very well the way the chicks are looking at her.

Now whaddidIsee? I saw some roses, I saw some wheat and I saw a jelly fish and an elephant :) I counted 12 cheeks and seventeen eggs - now hold, on, wait till I find my glasses and I'll count them again ... :)
