Hi Shirley, This is so lovely, happy and peaceful :)
Oh! Good for you! It is very sweet. I'm glad it won. We just got our first silent, white snow last night. It is beautiful.

Hehehehe. Aaaww Shirley, I just love you! Tsup!!!! I was in New Jersey in my 20's. I don't think I painted or illustrated a snow scene ever. :( I do now that I am in Zululand Texas. We still are running our airconditioning!!!
I love that you made this piece circular. Very nice :)
Heyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! Welcome back, welcome back!!! So glad you made it in time for your own prompt, and a wonderful one at that! Aww, there is a beautiful serenity to this. I have a song flowing through my head, something about all being calm and bright. I remember being back east and listening to the silence of the snow. Ahh, the trail of moonlight is the cherry on the sundae. Now I want to gently shake this image and make the snow swirl around like a snowglobe. Heeheheeeeeeee! Love your little mo! My husband used to tell my girls that anyone could grow a mustache if they thought hard enough. You must have had a brain surge! :Dxoxo
I love how peaceful it looks. That's a beautiful moon :)

Congratulations on the release of your book! Your character illustrations are adorable, but this snowy scene reminds me so much of my beloved Hokkaido, so I just had to leave my comment here. Thanks for you comment on my Etegami blog. :)
