Magnify - belated...oops! What a week...

Wow, what a busy week..this is the first time I've posted an Illustration Friday piece late..and I am bummed..but I figure, keep pressing on! I hope to do this week's entry this weekend, so that I'm ahead of the game. : )

Anyway, I've missed you guys! I hope to hear from everyone..what do you think of the doctor? I struggled with this one (there are so many errors here, but I just thought it was ready for showing now)...

Have a great weekend, everyone! - Shirley

  8. Hi Shirley, love the details especially the various magnifying glasses. To have the King of the jungle scrutinizing the little patient is wonderful. :)

  9. LOL! What a great job Shirley! Love how much more sweet and gentle the Lion feels due to whom his patients are! My Lion is definitely a great big ole sour-puss in comparison to your wise and gentle Lion. Great job as always!!

  12. This is Stellar Shirley!!!! How awesome is this. The lion reminds me of my mom. Her name was Shirley and she had the personality of lion and worked in a lab. Oh this gives me a happy moment. I'm going back to look somemore. Great piece!

  14. I am honored that you've stopped by, ladies and gentlemen! Really!! I am happy to hear all of your wonderful input..this helps me a great deal, y'know. Sometimes you just don't "feel it" but then you push through that weird feeling and then something fun happens...the turning point for me in this piece was when I got to the little mouse patient...he just made me smile, so I had to keep moving forward...Dr. Lion was HARD!! Thanks again everyone...keep on' painting and creating...and I will look forward to your visits again!
