The Glass Bowl!

Taaa-daaa! Here's the bowl that I "made" at the Bay Area Glass Institute during a 2 hour workshop. I am really happy with how it turned out! I chose cobalt blue (2/3 of the base) and 1/3 turquoise blue, and Zack, the wonderful teacher, added the orange lip. It was an awesome experience.

Check out www.bagi.org for classes. I just found out that they are going virtual and will no longer hold classes after 5/31/14! If you're in the Bay Area, check them out..and also go to Groupon.com for an awesome discount (type in glass blowing).

    It's gorgeous! It needs to be filled with candies right away! I have a friend in San Jose who took a glass blowing class through Groupon. I wonder it it's the same one. She made some beautiful glass flowers for me. How sad that classes will no longer be offered.
