Happy Belated Easter!

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend and Easter. Ours was spent spring cleaning and then we topped delicious meal topped off with freshly baked lemon tarts and a sour cream chocolate cake. Delish! One of the highlights of our weekend were gifts from my little one..paper creations! She also designed and decorated our "Easter tree" from branches from our Mulberry Tree.
And, as a treat to my kiddos for the first time, I ordered these amazing Sugar Eggs from Ashley at sugareggs.com - they are truly wonderful treasures and my kids were so excited to have one for their very own. Please have a look at her website when you get a chance..I was absolutely thrilled with her work. Thank you Ashley!

And something fun for me..just some organic shapes that turned into a forest illustration. I hope you like it!

Have a super week ahead everyone and thank you so much for your kind visits and comments..they mean a lot to me! ~ Shirley

  8. OH MAH GOODNESS, those paper critters are sooooooooo delightfully adorable! How can you resist just squeezing them tight and gobbling them up?! Hahaha, those are keepers for sure. 9. I love the paper art. Oh my goodness, Shirley, your daughters inherited your artistic genes. What are you going to do with the sugar eggs? They are soooooo pretty. I saw some of those at Williams Sonoma. Now why can't candy makers design candies like these eggs? For example instead of long licorice sticks, they can design very thin tall men that one can lick, oy that sounds, dirty, maybe bite the head off... Okay I am completely sidetracked. Hooray for your epsilons!
