Japan on my mind..

on this night of the "supermoon", I wanted to post a new painting that I did while watching the breaking news of the disasater in Japan. I wanted to paint a symbol of strength for Japan..the Japanese Crane, maple tree, and the moon. I hope that it conveys a sense of hope.

In my small way, and with your support, I am donating 100% of the proceeds of sales of a print of this piece to the Red Cross in support of their relief efforts in Japan.

Thanks for your kind visits everyone..it is always wonderful to hear from you. I've been swamped this month, but hope to get back to blogging more regularly in April. I hope you all are well, healthy, happy, safe.
